MORE ABOUT MEGA
Meet the creative fool behind this website.
WHO AM I?
My name is Mega.
After a successful career in art direction in Europe and Australia, I now do illustrations for publications and brands. Some of my clients include Nike, Volkswagen or Complex magazine.
I have exhibited my personal work in reputable galleries throughout the Asian Pacific and Europe.
I work on my creations from the moment I wake up until I go to bed:
I wake up and draw illustrations or work on a new artwork.
I have a spicy lunch, draw again, eat another spicy meal, and eventually join my girlfriend in bed.
I don’t drink coffee at night.
This is my life 7 days a week…
all year-long.
WHAT DO I DO?
I do illustration and art.
Plain and simple, I do catchy visuals that work.
I love turning your ideas into appealing visuals.
I link traditional techniques with innovative process:
I take an interdisciplinary approach — blending the practices of design, technology and art — to create modern and appealing images.
I believe that quality, communication and hard work are the keys to success.
Feel free to check my interviews section if you want to know me better.
HOW DO I WORK?
I work my ass off until you are happy.
Let’s see how we can do just this:
- 1. WE PLAN:
- I LISTEN to you until I fully understand your needs.
WE VALIDATE a brief and a timeframe for the project. - 2. I CREATE:
- I WORK on an illustration that follows the brief.
Under any circumstances I will respect the deadline. - 3. WE IMPROVE:
- Based on our mutual experiences WE POLISH the result until you are fully satisfied.
- 4. YOU VALIDATE:
- When you are happy, I am happy. It is that simple.
Plain and simple, I do catchy visuals that work.

Testimonials:
Let’s see what recognized experts from the design industry have to say about my work:
Mega is instantly likeable, the street style and attitude infectious, his globe-trotting lifestyle creates a unification of global counter-culture in his work which overflows with a panoply of colour, slick well-chosen lines and a hawks eye for a good angle.
Mega is one of those that simultaneously breaks the mould but acts as a distillation of his genre, his work trades in alternative culture kudos, which like a precious currency, corporates try to co-opt to put some dents in their cold calculating exteriors and inject some life into their atrophied veins of style by committee, all the while they fund Mega, laughing from his tropical paradise knocking out work he couldn’t help but do.
He controls his style in this way creating slick and justified work that is skilled not only mechanically but works as an illustrator should by selling the message hard. This can be down to his street roots or more likely honed by editorial experience, either way he can put a point across with a tropical sense of glee and a palette rich with street colour.
A true talent, it’s Mega.”
by ILLUSTRATION RALLY.
Besides, he co-realized and published several graphic design books.
For the whole time he has been really prolific in term of illustrations, having his art published in countless magazines and books across the world.
His work allowed him to be featured and involved in all kind of fields, from fashion brand identities to advertising campaigns, to art galleries, to skateboard decks design, etc. For the past decade, Mega has been working exclusively on his illustrations, spending every year living in a different country around the world (Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Indonesia).”
